Autovectoring?
Autovectors.com can take a raster file or hard copy and convert it to an editable vector file for use in Autocad, or any other package that will except DXF information.  This is used as a fix for systems that can not perform hybrid operations.  The conversion process is not a perfect one.  In most cases it can save time and eliminate the trivial process of having to manually digitize the line work in a file, allowing the user to use the change properties and clean up files in a very short period of time, since information is already scaled.  All text will lose its font recognition and be lines, but can be viewed on the screen.  Most old text will change with the updates and only need to be deleted.  Line width may be established by   creating polylines for vectored lines, or using the change option.
